Movie-It's a Wonderful Life (1946)
Let's Bring Kindness to Life
The Movie is about a
person George Bailey who has given up his dreams in order to help others, and
whose forthcoming suicide on Christmas Eve brings about the
intervention of his guardian angel, Clarence Odbody. Clarence shows
George all the lives he has touched and how different life in his community
of the town (Bedford Falls) would be, if he had never been
born. After realizing all, he has realized his mistake of committing the
suicide and god has given him another chance to live. In the end, George is
being helped from each of the person whom he had helped and a book from the
angel stating “Remember no man is failure who has friends”.
In
today's scenario where everyone is working for his goals, ambitions and dreams
where every person richness is being defined by the worth of assets he own.
This movie gives us an insight a person cannot have a huge bank accounts and
big assets but still he can be rich by his kindness to the other people. The
movie has point-out that a person should always see the good things which other
had. And a person should can make a difference by living a responsible,
caring life. In the view of this film, a wonderful life depends upon family,
friends and having an honest job that contributes to the community. Finding the
right balance between self-fulfillment and dedication to others is a major
developmental task, indeed, it is a challenge for all age groups.
Some of the other things which
we can inherent from the movie were
- Facilitate others’ success
- Stand up for what is right
- Know your faults and correct them
- Live your life with gratitude
So, let start with bringing
kindness to our life.
